If you are thinking about using athletics for a college education and wish to play at an NCAA institution during your freshman year, don't take playing for granted, check out the NCAA regulations and make sure you will be cleared by the clearinghouse. Some didn't this year and there could be up to 1,500 who miss their freshman year.
